The exhibition is bilingual (Czech and English) in the form of boards with texts and photos.
The exhibition commemorates the 20th anniversary of the first combat mission in the history of the Czech Republic. In 2004, the Czech SOF contingent consisting of members of 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec was deployed to this mission in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, shortly after the contingent's return to their homeland, a tragic accident occurred, in which five members of the 601st SFG died.
The exhibition "Year 2004: Operation Enduring Freedom – First Combat Mission in the History of the Czech Republic / Vrahovice – Biggest Loss of Czech Special Operations Forces" was first presented on November 8, 2024, in the Společenský dům in Prostějov during the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the first combat mission of the Czech Republic Special Operations Forces. The exhibition here was complemented by a comprehensive presentation of many authentic artifacts. The entire event was attended by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, in addition to a number of other eminent guests.

The exposition of the exhibition presents the modern history of the Czech Republic Special Operations Forces and commemorates the fallen soldiers. It is implemented bilingually (Czech and English) in the form of boards with texts and photos and showcases with period artifacts.
The exhibition commemorates the 25th anniversary of establishing the Special Forces Company, 20th anniversary of establishing the 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec, 20 Years since Master Sergeant Pavel Mauer's Death and 5 years since Staff Sergeant Tomáš Procházka's Death.
On October 24, 2023, the presentation of the exhibition From The Special Company To The Modern SOF Unit began in Brno at the BVV Exhibition Center in a very important place, namely at the presentation stand of the Czech Republic Special Operations Forces as part of the GSOF Symposium Europe 2023.

The 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec – an elite military unit of the Czech Armed Forces with code number 8280 based in Prostějov, which has existed in its current form since 2003. However, the establishment of Military Unit 8280 dates back to 1952. These 70 years of development of the Military Unit 8280 is presented by a unique exhibition, whose presented content will acquaint visitors with all changes in the organization, purpose or dislocations of this unique military unit.
The exhibition also commemorates the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Airborne Forces and the 80th anniversary of Operation Anthropoid.
The exhibition 70 Years of Military Unit 8280 was realized in 2022
with the financial support of the Special Operations Forces Endowment Fund of General Moravec
and the patronage over the exhibition was held by 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec.

Brigadier General František Moravec (1895-1966) served all his life faithfully the ideal of a free and democratic republic of Czechoslovakia. He was a legionnaire, military intelligence officer, a man who decided on realization of the operation Anthropoid and also a member of the anti-Communist resistance. The touring exposition instroduces underlying personal and professional life events of this eminent general. Patronage over the exhibition is held by 601st Special Operations Forces Group from the Town of Prostějov holding the honorary title "of General Moravec".
